Our Story...

In The Name Publishing was born out of a desire to make the publishing process easier and more transparent for authors. Jessica Hieb founded the company after a disappointing introduction to the publishing world, one in which she found her voice as the author stifled and the investment in her work lackluster. She knew there had to be a better way to get stories out there, one with less stress, more input, and more respect for authors and their work—a process she wanted not only for herself, but for any authors working to get their stories out to the world. As she'll be the first say, her vision was huge, far bigger than she could accomplish on her own, and God graciously provided her with the right friends and creatives to help bring her dream to fruition.

In the Name Publishing was founded by a group of Christian women who sought to put God first and to serve our clients well.

In 2024, life hit several of our team members hard, and we took an unexpected break to allow each to focus on their respective lives. For some members, that break became permanent as they have felt God's call to other ventures. We are cheering them on and praying for God's continued work in their lives. In His goodness, God has brought amazing new team members that have dived in headfirst, and we are seeing the fruits of their labor and passion with new authors, projects, and services coming soon.
