Power - A Love Letter to God

From the very beginning of ITN Publishing, I’ve felt deeply called to create a space where Christian creatives could share their stories—not only through words, but through whatever medium stirs their spirit. Power Magazine is that space. It’s for painters, poets, photographers, musicians, storytellers—for anyone who carries a creative spark lit by God.

The very first thing God did in the Bible was to create.

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

– Gensis 1:1

He took nothingness and created the beauty that we see around us today. When sin entered the world, it tried so hard to destroy what God had created. It twisted and perverted beauty in every way that it could, and yet that same desire to create exists in so many of us and fights back against the enemy's schemes. We take the brokenness that we have endured in our own lives or have seen in the lives of others, and we capture it in the most magnificent ways. A cluster of animal hair on a stick dipped in pigments and stroked across a canvas can sing of the glory of God. Doubt and fear written from the heart can point to the majesty of a savior. And I think we all know how much a tune plucked on a guitar can influence our spirit.

The stories that lead to the creation of artwork in all its forms are the heart behind Power magazine. As a writer and painter, myself, who is joined by editors, designers, and illustrators at ITN Publishing, I never felt there was a place that represented me well. A platform that wasn’t just for books, or just for art, or just for music, but a place where all of those things came together in the most beautiful way to honor God. That is Power.

Our team is working diligently to showcase the depth and diversity of faith-inspired creativity. Whether through imagery, melody, or verse, this magazine exists to honor the work of artists whose lives and gifts reflect God’s beauty amongst the brokenness.

This first edition—our Christmas release—is especially close to my heart. It's my personal love letter to God. Every detail, every page, has been approached with reverence and joy. This isn't just a holiday publication; it’s the tangible expression of a calling that’s been with me since the start of this journey. My prayer is that Power becomes something you return to again and again—a beautiful piece of art resting on your coffee table, always offering something new to discover. For the Christian Creatives who have already submitted their work to us for consideration – we say THANK YOU! We are reading, viewing, hearing every single piece that comes our way and every submission that is selected will be held with love and care. We know how hard it can be to share your work with the world, and we are honored to be part of sharing it.

As we move forward, we’re preparing to launch a crowdfunding campaign to help bring this vision to life. If you can come alongside us financially, or in prayer we appreciate it more than you can know. We trust that God will provide for this and are pushing forward confident that He will do with Power exactly what He intends to do and will touch the lives with it that it is meant to touch.
